Troubleshooting Common Issues
Issue 1: Partner does not see a badge they expect to in Library.
Reason: Profile is restricting them from access.
Solution: Check profile as detailed in Section 4 to verify you see the "Badge Access" profiles set to true or false.
Issue 2: Partner does not see expected customization option. (e.g. Partner is Distributor, but Badge only says Reseller)
Reason: Profile not properly set during login. OR Information from Motorola API is out of date.
Solution: Check profile as detailed in Section 4. You should see text either exactly matching or closely matching the option requested from the partner.
- If option is missing from profile, then profile setup issue.
- If option is visible in profile, it may be missing from badge.
Issue 3: Badge options are not translated to partner selected language.
Reason: Translation record not uploaded to database. Or translation not attached to template in database.
Solution: Reach out to dev team to set up translation.
Issue 4: Badge color not updating.
Reason: Partner selected black and white badge, it has no color options, OR metal level not passed into Partner profile, so no color set on customization.
Solution: Check badge to verify it comes from a template that has colorization. Then check profile via steps in Section 4 for "Metal Level" and "Metal BG Color" should be visible and populated with a color like: Silver, Gold, Platinum. (Registered tier would not bring in any colors.)
